Ben Shephard is a journalist, presenter, podcaster and author originally best known for his involvement with the creation of the X Factor which launched his eclectic broadcasting career
Part of the original team that launched The X Factor, Ben’s past television credits include hosting Goals on Sunday, 1vs100, Safebreakers, Behind the Magic of Harry Potter, and One Night Only with Rod Stewart.
In 2022, Ben published Humble Heroes: Inspirational Stories of Hope, Heart and Humanity, and launched Kammy’s and Ben’s Proper Football Podcast.
Ben dedicates much of his free time to working with charities, which has led him to complete 14 marathons, run across the UK twice, and climb Mount Kilimanjaro in the past 15 years.
After 10 years of co-anchoring Good Morning Britain, in February 2024, Ben departed to take over as host of This Morning. He also hosts the ever-popular Tipping Point, and previously Ninja Warrior UK.
