The Internationally acclaimed BJÖRN AGAIN show was created and founded in 1988 in Melbourne,by Australian musician ROD STEPHEN. Designed as a tongue-in-cheek rocked-up ABBA satire, the show rapidly garnering a global cult status with critical acclaim.
Bjorn Again's personnel come from a pool of performers from throughout the Northern Hemisphere who are overseen by Rod who often plays and sings with onstage. Having been acknowledged by Bjorn Ulvaeus as being the show that single-handedly initiated the ABBA revival in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Bjorn Again show is hailed as the most popular and successful show of its type. It is considered to have initiated the ABBA revival which brought about ABBA Gold, Muriel’s Wedding and MAMMA MIA! whilst paving the way for the worldwide tribute band phenomenon.
