Katherine is a stand up comedian, writer and actress. Hailing from Canada, she started her comedy career while studying over there, then moved to the UK and has been based here ever since! Their loss, was definitely our gain!
She has appeared on numerous TV comedy programmes and panel shows including ‘Mock the Week’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’, ‘QI’ and ‘Have I Got News for You’. She's co hosted four series of Your Face or Mine with Jimmy Carr, while also recorded two Netflix specials based on her tours 'Katherine Ryan In Trouble: Entitled to Everything' and ‘Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room’.
She’s also had acting roles in ‘Episodes’, ‘Campus’ and ‘Badults’ and performed at "Live at the Apollo" with Jack Whitehall and Rich Hall.
Away from straight comedy, she’s hosted the BBC’s ‘All that Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star’ and also featured in ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ where she traced her Irish heritage.
