Lizzie Daly is an experienced broadcaster and scientist whose career has taken off in the last few years as interest in all things environmental has increased.
Lizzie is a wildlife TV presenter, filmmaker, explorer and author, but first and foremost, a scientist. Known for her adventurous spirit and storytelling mastery, Lizzie has presented on BBC 1, BBC 2, CBBC and Sky TV, to name a few. As an experienced underwater and topside cinematographer, as well as drone operator, Lizzie shoots much of her own content, both for broadcast and for her impressive online community. Her work has taken her solo to some of the planet’s most remote and treacherous terrains, including the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Amazon.
Lizzie was awarded an honorary doctorate for her exceptional contribution to conservation and science communication. Her remarkable knowledge base, fearlessness in the field, and stellar ability to story-tell, are what set her apart and allow her to communicate our planet’s stories in such a raw and engaging way.
Lizzie’s previous talks have covered themes such as pushing the physical and mental boundaries, journeying through wildlife conservation, female empowerment, exploring in the world's wildernesses, and making an impact through storytelling.
