Lucy Beaumont is a hugely talented stand-up, comedy actress and award winning writer with numerous credits to her name in all comedy disciplines.
She recently starred as one of the contestants on Series 16 of Taskmaster (Channel 4). She has performed her stand-up show The Trouble and Strife to sold-out audiences across the UK. The tour was extended for a third leg in Autumn 2024.
She is also known for starring in and writing Meet the Richardsons (Dave). Her performance was nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme in the 2023 BAFTAs. The show won Best Comedy Programme at the Broadcast Digital Awards.
Lucy created and co-wrote Hullraisers; a female led comedy series which launched on Channel 4 in Spring 2022, with a second series airing in Autumn 2023. 2023 also saw Lucy host Channel 4’s new Friday night panel show Odd Couples and was praised as “uproariously funny and highly relatable” by the Radio Times.
In 2021 she also published a book with Octopus Publishing entitled Drinking Custard: The Diary of A Confused Mum.
Lucy has also had success on stage and on radio. She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. Prior to this, she was winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

Lucy is co-host of the Lucy & Sam’s Perfect Brains podcast, alongside fellow comedian Sam Campbell, which came about after the pair starred on series 16 of Taskmaster together.
