Born in Malaysia, Nigel Ng is now living in London and has had a colourful career in both stand up and content creating.
In July 2020, Nigel amassed over 35 million views on his YouTube channel with his hilarious character portrayal of Uncle Roger, a middle- aged Asian man criticising an egg fried rice tutorial. He now has a combined following over 2 million across his social channels.
Nigel is also an accomplished stand up comedian, with a sold-out show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 which he was nominated Best Newcomer Award. Following this, he delivered another sold out week-long show at London’s Soho Theatre in early 2020.
Having made his TV debut in 2018 on Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, Nigel quickly moved on to Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, BBC Two’s Mock The Week plus many others.
His popular podcast, Rice To Meet You alongside Swedish comedian Evelyn Mok analyses Asian culture in a humorous way, and features other notable guests discussing the modern Asian experience.
