Russell has two chart-topping, award-bagging podcasts: Man Baggage and BBC Radio 4’s Evil Genius. He is a regular on Channel 4, BBC, and ITV: Recent TV appearances include The Apprentice: You’re Fired, The One Show, Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show as well as regular appearances on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

He was the first ever comedian to bag the two most prestigious comedy awards on earth in the same year, for the same show: Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier), and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Award, (formerly known as the Barry Award).

His career started in 2004, when he won the Laughing Horse new act competition, and the following year he was nominated for best newcomer in the Chortle awards.

After being short-listed for the highest accolade at the Edinburgh Festival, the triple-Edinburgh Comedy Award,  he went on tour with his show Human Dressage - which saw him play to sell-out crowds at the prestigious Bloomsbury Theatre . He also toured with his critically acclaimed hit Fakespeare: The Tragickal Saveings of King Nigel, a bawdy romp set in a modern-day Essex where everyone speaks in Shakespearean verse.

As ever, Russell also continues to provide his ever-popular topical online rants known as ‘Kaneings’.

Russell prides himself on writing to and talking to brief. Whether it’s marketing, manufacture, pets, planes, cars or property - he has bespoke little bits and pieces he can do- and can readily do fresh and original bespoke monologues. He can host a corporate event remotely whilst engaging the audience.
