Hand’s debut dance track ‘So Deep’ recently featured on ITV’s Love Island, just a few months after the release of his debut kids novel ‘Stardust: Amazing Archie The Singing Sensation.'
2023 was a busy year for Ryan, with ‘The Great Food Festival’ airing on BBC One, a channel where he also enjoys a roving reporter role covering regular features for BBC’s The One Show.
Ryan’s career started in 2008 as a runner for BBC NI, and it was 2017 when he got his big break as a presenter on ITV's Cannonball, alongside Freddie Flintoff, Frankie Bridge, Maya Jama & Radzi.
Beforehand the cheeky Irishman spent several years warming up audiences on ITV’s Loose Women, whilst cutting his teeth on London’s comedy circuit.
Ryan joined Q Radio in 2022 bringing bags of energy, charm and his musical knowledge to the station, where he can be found every weekend wreaking havoc on the airwaves.
He’s also a regular behind the decks for brands such as Nike, John Lewis and River Island. No stranger to big stages, Hand has played to 1 million people at Pride London and in Camden's iconic Roundhouse alongside Radio 2's Sarah Cox.
His acting credits include voice over and commercial work for Virgin Media, Kenwood, Kellogg’s, The National Lottery, and he's enjoyed acting roles on E4's Body Fixers, BBC's The Fall and stage credits with The Ulster Orchestra.
The former comedian is an in demand event host who flies across Europe to MC shows for clients such as Soft2Bet, Clan Wars and Bada Bingo
Ryan is also a fitness fanatic who runs marathons for Marie Curie. He enjoys any form of physical challenge, sport or exercise, and is a diehard Liverpool fan.
