Tom Dyckhoff is one of the UK's leading critics and broadcasters on architecture, cities and design and presents the Channel 4 series, The Secret Life of Buildings.

He is architecture and design critic of The Times newspaper, and the BBC's weekly arts magazine programme, The Culture Show, and presents BBC2's coverage of The Stirling Prize for Architecture.

His 2009 seven-part BBC2 series, Saving Britain's Past, examined Britain's obsession with heritage.

For Channel 4, he has written and presented a documentary on ugly buildings, I Love Carbuncles, and co-presented two series of Grand Designs: Trade Secrets, the spin-off series from the popular property show.

Tom has written widely for publications from The Sunday Telegraph to GQ, appears regularly as a critic on TV and radio programmes, and has written a weekly column for The Guardian's Weekend Magazine since 2001.

Tom regularly hosts events and conferences and he has hosted the Stirling Prize for the Royal Institute of British Architects for the past three years.
